Middlesbrough lift a trophy after 128 years. Middlesbrough beat Bolton 2-1
at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. Joseph Jobs
1st minute goal put the club in the record books for the fastest ever goal
in the cup. Then Job was fouled inside the area and
Referee M.Riley pointed to the spot. Boudewijn Zenden made it 2-0 but was
alleged to have struck the ball twice. Kevin Davies
scored a fluke soon after, Mark Schwarzer made a goalkeeping nightmare as
the ball rolled up his arm and into the net.
Yet if it wasn't for Schwarzer 'Boro' wouldn't be champions as he pulled 3
remarkable saves off.
